Meet the Doctors

Dr. Victoria Sullivan, or Dr. Vickie as she likes to be called, grew up in Carmichael, California. Though she has exceptional dental knowledge and skill, her patients mostly know her for her warm and gentle touch. She has two wonderful children, Madeline Clair and Garrett Richard. She loves to travel, go to dance recitals, Taekwondo tournaments and have adventures with her children in her spare time. Dr. Vickie also enjoys pilates, kick-boxing, snorkeling, reading, cooking, dancing and scrapbooking.

Dr. Vickie graduated from El Camino Fundamental High School and from the University of California in San Diego in 1991. She got her dental degree from the University of the Pacific in 1995 and her Pediatric Specialty from USC and Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles in 1997.

Dr. Vickie first began working in dental clinics in 1996, including the Simi Valley Children’s Dental Group (1996-1999), Southgate Adult and Children’s Dental Group (1999-2004), and Oak Park Dentistry for Children and Young Adults (2002-2004).
Dr. Vickie is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento Dental Society.

Dr. Andrea Azevedo, or “Dr. A.” as she is often referred to, was born in Brazil. She received her dental degree in Brazil in 1987, and continued her dental education in California by earning her DDS degree in 2001. Dr. A shared her professional knowledge of working with children, especially the 0-5 year olds, at the University of the Pacific, and the University of California San Francisco. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

Dr. Azevedo lives in Sacramento with her husband Richard and son Lucas. She is passionate about working with children, as they bring her a lot of joy and professional satisfaction. She is also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

 

Dr. Jennifer Datwyler, “Dr. Jen”, graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 2001. Prior to becoming a dentist, she worked as a dental hygienist for several years. Dr. Jen is married and has two children of her own. In her spare time she coaches and competes in triathlons. She finished Ironman Arizona in 2010. Dr. Jen loves pediatric dentistry. She has a talent for helping children feel comfortable in the dental chair and look forward to their next dental appointment.
